I was making some slip-cast, hollow, spherical ornaments and needed a way to hang them while firing. I wasn’t sure if these rods would hold their shape w the weight of the glazed ornaments in a hot cone 6 fire, but they didn’t warp at all. Came out every bit as straight and sturdy as they went in. I thought they were a little pricy until I saw how they performed. Excellent product!
Strong alumina rods for hanging ornaments in cone 6 firing.
I just fired up a cone 5 firing with decently heavy ornaments and they didn’t bend!! Great quality and craftsmanship!
