These rods hold up! I've fired them cone 06 to cone 10 holding almost 100 g at a time. Best thing for glazing Christmas ornaments. Bonus: they come in the best packaging, love the slide out box to keep them safe.

I was making some slip-cast, hollow, spherical ornaments and needed a way to hang them while firing. I wasn’t sure if these rods would hold their shape w the weight of the glazed ornaments in a hot cone 6 fire, but they didn’t warp at all. Came out every bit as straight and sturdy as they went in. I thought they were a little pricy until I saw how they performed. Excellent product!
