Shanghai Museum and art galleries of contemporary
art, Yu Garden in old part of |

Private bus to Hangzhou, passing by famous Wuzhen
Ming canal town. Stay at China Academy Hotel in center of Hangzhou. |

Visit China Academy of Fine Art with Professor
Yanjin Song, a leading contemporary printmaking artist. Exchange with artists and students at the Academy. Visit beautiful West Lake and tour the tea museum. |

Private bus to Jing County, the home for rice
paper making for over 1000 years. |

Visit a paper making village and travel to Taipin
in the Yellow Mountain area. |

Day-trip hiking on Yellow Mountain by foot or
take cable car, with extra cost of $25.00. Yellow Mountain (Huangshan) is the inspiration for traditional landscape ink painting. |

Morning Tianxi market and travel to Jingdezhen,
passing through the mountains. Arrive in Jingdezhen and stay at Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute hotel facilities. |

Rest in morning and prepare for the exhibition
and symposium. Opening of the China Sanbao International Printmaking Symposium at the International Art Center of Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute. Lecture and slides talk by artists. |

Morning bus to historic Yaoli old Ming town to
attend opening of the exhibition. Sightseeing of the historic town. Stay overnight in Yaoli hotel. |
| May 30 - June 4 |
Workshop at Sanbao Ceramic Working Village with
local artists. Visit studios and pottery workshops around Jingdezhen. Workshop topics include clay sculpture, traditional pottery making, working on the surface with potters, brush decoration in cobalt blue, porcelain tile making and enamels painting. |

Flight from Jingdezhen to Kunming, Yunnan
province, in southwest of China. |

Visit Yunnan Academy of Art and Craft Museum and
the old part in Kunming. |

Private bus to Lijiang,
an ancient Ming town with a large population of Naxi peoples. |

Visit old villages
around Lijiang and markets of traditional craft practices. Shop for antiques, textiles, crafts and jewelry. |

Bus from Lijiang back towards Dali and stopover
at a silver-making village. Stay in Dali in a traditional style hotel. |

Tour Dali area and Weishan.
Visit Taoist temples in the mountains surrounding Dali. Tour to surrounding villages engaged in tie-dye fabrics and other textile crafts. |

Dali and local attractions.
Bai ethnic banquet. |

Bus back to Kunming. Hotel in Kunming. |

Fly back to Shanghai. Rest and relax in Shanghai
