comprehensive Summer School Program.
Students will travel
to the major historical and cultural sites in China.
They will experience the cultural diversity of Yunnan Province, in
the southwest of China, with Tibetan influences.
They will learn the secrets of classical Jingdezhen porcelain.
The SUNY education system is offering credit for this
international program and will discuss details with your
college-level institution for granting credit.

Jingdezhen
Porcelain and Craft Treasures of China
Enter China at the port city of Shanghai. Visit
the historic Bund section. Have a 12-day studio
experience in Jingdezhen learning a variety of Chinese
arts. meet the porcelain masters and see some the
thousands of factory studios. Visit ancient
villages in the ethnically and geographically diverse
Yunnan Province. Visit the markets with
traditional practices. Shop for antiques, ceramics,
textiles, wood, jewelry and other village crafts.
This
Summer School program is offered under the international programs of
the State University of
New York, and administered by SUNY
Cortland.
College-level
students may apply for credits through the SUNY credit system
with authorization from their own educational institution.

Anyone
can take the SUNY Summer School program without seeking credits.
