When your plan arrives in Shanghai, you will be at the Pudong (PVG) Airport.

 

1. You will proceed to the customs and immigration clearance area.   It will be crowed and there is no official line up procedure.  You must push your way ahead the best way possible.  Don't be to aggressive but assert your self accordingly. 

3. On any forms you are asked to fill out for immigration, if you are asked for an address where you will be staying, you can put either:

15. Once you have cleared Immigration and collected your baggage, you will see a series of doors leading to the outside.  If you need to exchange any money to RMB, the Chinese currency, you will have to find the Foreign Exchange Bank.  You will be able to convert your money safely.  There are also Automatic cash machines in the airport that are reliable for withdrawing money in RMB.  You will need Chinese currency at all times.  Once you have secured your RMB, go through doors numbered 11-12 and there you will see airport shuttle buses on the roadway to the left. There is also a taxi stand  on the left.   
17. Depending on the time of your arrival, there should be shuttle service from the airport to downtown Shanghai which is an hour away.  This service may end at 23:00hrs. If there is no more service, then you will need to take a taxi to your hotel.
19. A metered taxi to the hotel costs around $20-25US.  Do not take a taxi without a meter otherwise you may end paying double the official rate.

21. If there is bus service (there are 5 bus lines), get on Shuttle Bus Number 2 to Jing An Temple. The cost will be about 18 RMB and someone will come to collect the fare when you are on the bus.  Show the Chinese text printout of the #2 bus trip to the bus driver or attendant.  Jing An Temple is at the end of the bus line and the ride is 45-60 minutes depending on traffic.

23. When you arrive at the Jing An Temple you will then have to take a  taxi to go to the Xiang Yang Hotel.  the trip will be about five minutes and will cost around 15 RMB. If some taxi drivers do not know where the hotel is located, they can phone the hotel for directions.  You will show the drive your print out showing the hotel name.

30. If you have not yet made your hotel and domestic travel arrangements, we will book the train/plane and hotel for you. The train/plane ticket will waiting for you at the front desk of the hotel. The Shanghai hotel/train package is $150USD and the hotel/plane package is $180.00USD.  If you have made arrangements and you have yet to make your payment you can you can send a check, made out to the amount of your plan and endorse it to Sanbao Studio, to
