September 10	IAC Registration
September 11	Opening Ceremony and official opening of exhibitions. IAC meeting.
September 12	Lectures and video presentations.
September 13	Local touring to Saanxi Museum and Hanyang Tomb.
September 14	Terracotta Warriors Museum. IAC meeting in Fuping, outside of Xian. Exhibitions and closing ceremony.

Sanbao Invitational Tours

Sanbao Ceramic Art Institute and China Ceramic Cultural Exchange are proud to offer the IAC members and their friends two special educational cultural tours to the major ceramics and craft sites in China.

To celebrate the International Academy of Ceramics General Assembly in Xian, China in September of 2008, we have created tours to both Tibet and to Northern China, east of Xian. These tours have been organized to accommodate those wishing to travel prior the General Assembly as well as to provide the same opportunity to those wishing to travel after the Conference has ended.

     Tours are open to all IAC members and their friends.
     Maximum number per tour is 16 people (double occupancy).
     Tours will either begin in Beijing and end in Xian or vise versa.
     The dates are coordinated with the conference in Xian.
     Letters of invitation can be arranged to be sent to participants.
     Payments can be made via bank wire transfer to China.
     Members can organize a group (8-16) and customize a tour.

Tour Organizer

       The Tour Organizer, Jackson Li, will introduce the unique cuisines and dishes of the local areas. Jackson Li is an internationally recognized Chinese ceramic artist. He is known for his ability to introduce travelers to the lifestyles of the local people, in their workshops and homes, be they master potters, farmers or local artisans.
     Jackson Li is an artist member of IAC and Jingdezhen Sanbao Ceramic Art Institute is an institutional member.

We can also arrange to customize a tour if you are willing to organize a group (8-16) and financial reductions are available to the organizer.
