Artists Tour of China

Tours can be planned for 14, 21 or 28 days. 

Your Host will be Jackson Li;

    He is a graduate of the Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute and has been awarded a Master of Fine Arts from Alfred University in the USA. He has exhibited through out the USA, Europe and China.    He is an experienced educator of the ceramic arts and supporter of international exchange art programs.   He is also a member of the International Academy of Ceramics as well as an Active member of the  National Council for Education of Ceramic Arts (USA) and has lectured at Numerous NCECA Conferences  and universities throughout the US.

    Jackson Li, will introduce the unique cuisines and dishes of the local areas.  He is known for his ability to introduce travelers to the lifestyles of the local people, in their workshops and homes,    be they
master potters, farmers or local artisans

Enter China at the dynamic world-class city of
                    Shanghai.  Visit the city of Shanghai's cultural centers.

Travel the road through China's craft and cultural cities and country side. Visit the art center of Hangzhou, the teapot center of Yixing, villages specializing in paper making, bamboo crafts and folk pottery centers. 

Stop for a 6-day unique experience learning the secrets of classical porcelain and decoration of Jingdezhen.  Visit the many porcelain factories and city markets.

Carry on with your visit through ancient villages in the ethnically and geographically diverse Yunnan Province located in the southwest of China arriving at Kumming, an area filled with the traditions of the ethnic minorities, their architecture,  their life styles and to their crafts such as silver work, traditional pottery, weaving and tie dying.

Discover the antiques, ceramics, textiles, wood, jewelry and other village crafts of Yunnan.

  Depart from Shanghai

  Four Star Hotels whenever available (including Shenzhen, Foshan, Kunming, Dali and Jinghong).

  The tour is customized for not more than 14 persons.

  non-refundable deposit will be necessary to guarantee the tour.

  Balance Payment one month prior to date of departure.

  Cancellation clause: 25%.

  Includes Hotel, meals, admission, and domestic transportation. Gratuities are not included.
