The
Ambassador of Jingdezhen Program is a great opportunity
to participate much more meaningfully in Jingdezhen 1000
Years Celebration of Porcelain activities, continuing
from 2004 to 2008. 
The
Ambassador program extends to you the position of
Ambassador of Jingdezhen for the Jingdezhen 1000 Years
Celebration of Porcelain. You will be welcomed by the
Jingdezhen Municipal People’s Government as an
official delegation of your nation/ association and be
treated accordingly.
You are invited to promote and organize members of your nation/ association into a delegation to participate in China workshop/tours as a formal group.
Visit our tours page and you will find examples of tours that were planned by other ambassadors of Jingdezhen. If you see an itinerary you like and wish to form a group of your friends and associates to go with you you could realize a savings to your travel costs.
Program
package choices
You
will decide, upon consultation with us, on the schedule of your tour
of China. You can elect to choose one of the prepared tours and
arrange a
scheduled time of departure. You will be provided
with arts and crafts workshops/demonstrations, all accommodation and
meals requirements, and tour guides for your travel group. The Embassy
of your country, in Beijing, will be invited to Jingdezhen during your
delegation’s time in Jingdezhen.
Tour
financing
In
terms of the financing for your own participation as ambassador, if
you lead a delegation of 10 or more, plus yourself, your costs in
China will be covered (including domestic travel , accommodation and
meals).
If
you lead a delegation of 16 or more, plus yourself, the travel program
will also cover offer you a free 2-week artist residency after the end
of the tour.

Receive the brochures and information on China 2006 tours

Choose a tour program and schedule.

Promote the tour to your national/ association members.

Apply for funding. You and your delegation can request to receive
individual official letters of invitation to the Jingdezhen events and
China tour. This will assist members in applying for art and travel
grants in their country.
